France Vs US In Men’s Basketball, Noah Lyles Wins Bronze With Covid

In men’s basketball, France’s win over Germany secured their place in the finals. They’ll take on Team USA after Steph Curry and LeBron James propelled the Americans to a nail-biting win over Serbia in the semis. US will face France on Saturday for the gold, and Serbia will play Germany for the bronze.
Noah Lyles (who won a gold medal in the 100 meters a few days ago) managed to win a bronze in the men’s 200 meters on Thursday after testing positive for covid just a few days before the race. Lyles received medical attention after the race but appeared in good spirits later when speaking with reporters. He said, “To be honest, I’m more proud of myself than anything. Coming out, getting the bronze medal with covid three days ago, it’s been a wild Olympics.”
