NBA Tape Delay Due To Bad Language, Kaepernick Scripted Series, MLS $65 Fyre Festival Meal

BASKETBALL

Commissioner of the NBA Adam Silver speculated in an interview about tape-delaying games because he’s worried about corporate sponsors getting upset if the players use bad language. He said, “I think often players, they understand when they’re on the floor, they’re saying certain things to each other because it’s so loud in the arena, they know a lot of it is not being picked up. They may have to adapt their language a little bit knowing what they say will likely be picked up by microphones and in all seriousness, we may need to put a little bit of a delay.”

FOOTBALL

Netflix announced they will be producing a six-part series on Colin Kaepernick called “Colin in Black and White.” Kaepernick will narrate the scripted drama about his experiences growing up as a black child adopted into a white family.

SOCCER

Major League Soccer teams have arrived at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in preparation for the MLS is Back Tournament. Apparently the accommodations aren’t exactly up to par yet. Players are posting pictures of the $65 lunch special delivered through room service and comparing it to the meals at the infamous Fyre Festival.
